When people think about limb lengthening, most imagine the surgery itself — the process of getting taller, the metal devices, the hospital. And that’s fair — the operation is a big deal.

But here’s what we’ve learned over the years: the surgery itself is only a small part of the entire process. It’s like laying the foundation of a house. Important, yes. But if that’s all you do, you’re left sleeping under the stars. No walls, no roof, no place to breathe.

So we didn’t stop at the foundation. We built the whole thing — solid structure, warm space, real support. And it made all the difference. Let’s show you how we did it.

We Didn’t Figure Things Out by Guessing

We didn’t stumble into a better way of doing limb lengthening. From the start, we had the medical expertise. We knew how to handle surgery, complications, bone healing, and all the technical stuff.

But what really changed the game was spotting what others overlooked.

You probably wouldn’t expect the hardest part to be boredom, loneliness, or figuring out how to manage your own meds when you’re too tired to think. But for many patients, that’s exactly where things get rough.

So we built something that doesn’t just treat your legs. It supports your entire experience.

Comprehensive Care Strategy - from Start to Finish

We built our limb lengthening process around a simple idea: no loose ends. This isn’t just about getting a surgery date and hoping for the best. From day one to rehab and beyond, we’ve created a system that combines expert care, honest communication, and real, practical support. Every part connects to the next, so you’re never left guessing what comes next.

We Built a Real Support System (Not Just a Service)

Meet our expert post-op team, providing personalized care and support throughout your limb lengthening journey.

Let’s face it — a lot of places say they offer “support,” but what they really mean is a few forms and a nurse who might call you back.

That’s not us.

We built a system that’s there for you before, during, and after surgery. A system that actually functions — not just on paper, but in real life.

From the First Message, You're Not Alone

From your first contact with us, you're part of a team. We take the time to understand your goals, answer your questions honestly, and walk you through what to expect.

That includes a full prep guide, covering everything from medications to mental readiness. We even give you a virtual tour so when you arrive, things already feel familiar.

When You Land, We’re There

Flying into a new country for surgery? That can be overwhelming. So we meet you at the airport. No confusion, no stress. Just a real person who knows your name and what you’re here for.

Once we arrive at the hotel, we help you get settled into your room. You get a full tour of the rehab center, meet our team, and get familiar with your surroundings. This includes where you’ll have your physiotherapy, how your daily routine will work, and how your schedule will flow.

You also meet other patients — some just starting, others already well into their recovery. Right away, you realize you're not going through this alone. There's a quiet kind of comfort in that. You’re part of something — supported, understood, and seen.

Before Surgery: Real Preparation, Not Guesswork

Pre-op tests and examination for leg lengthening surgery

Before anything else, we take time to make sure everything is medically and physically ready. Once you're settled, we guide you through a full pre-surgery preparation process — not just a quick form and a signature.

You’ll go through blood tests, X-rays, and any other scans needed to make sure your body’s in the right condition for surgery. We check your overall health and review any risks, all based on your individual case.

You’ll also sit down in-person with Dr. Yurttas. He performs a physical examination, explains the plan in detail, and answers anything on your mind — no rushed conversations, no half-answers.

We want you to feel like you actually understand what’s about to happen, not like you're being swept along in a process you don’t control.

Surgery Day: No Surprises, Just Skill

By the time surgery day comes, you’re prepared. You know the team, you’ve had your evaluations, and you’ve had honest conversations about the procedure.

You’re not walking into the unknown. You’re walking into something you’ve planned for.

Dr. Yurttas performs every surgery himself using advanced methods like Precice 2 or LON, depending on which method you prefer and what’s best for your case. With over 25 years of experience, you’re in the hands of someone who’s done this more times than we can count.

After Surgery: Where the Real Work Begins

You’ll stay at the hospital for about five days. But you’re not just lying in a bed waiting for someone to pop in.

You get 24/7 support. A dedicated caretaker helps with mobility, meals, medication — all of it. We manage your pain, guide you through the basics, and start light movement so your body doesn’t stiffen up.

We also begin teaching you how to handle the lengthening device. We don’t just explain it — we show you how to use it safely and confidently. You’ll practice under supervision until you feel comfortable.

Once you're ready, we transfer you to our rehab center using a private ambulance. No gaps. No stress.

Our Rehab Center: Where Real Recovery Happens

Once you’re discharged from the hospital, we move into the next big phase — the actual lengthening process. That happens at our rehab center.

It’s a 500 m² space we fully designed, built, and operate ourselves, located right inside our partner hotel. But the feel is nothing like a hospital. It’s calm, warm, and built to help you settle into daily life while managing everything the lengthening phase brings.

You’ve got space to breathe and move around. There’s natural light, peaceful views, and the kind of environment that helps you stay mentally steady while your body does the hard work.

Each room includes a small kitchenette, so you can make tea, store snacks, or cook something simple whenever you like. There’s also a shared kitchen area if you ever feel like preparing a full meal or just spending time around others while you cook. Coffee and tea are always available. We’ve even got lounge areas, Netflix, a PS5, and quiet corners if you feel like reading or working remotely.

You’ll see other patients going through the same thing — adjusting to the rhythm of daily lengthening, doing their exercises, sharing tips, sometimes just laughing together over coffee. Nobody’s here to rush you. But you’re not doing this alone, either.

This is where the real day-to-day part of the process begins. And we’re with you every step of the way.

Personalized Physiotherapy That Actually Works for You

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we don’t treat it like it is.

Right after you arrive, our physiotherapists check in with you and assess where you are — pain level, mobility, flexibility, mindset, everything. Then we build a plan around you. Not around a calendar or a standard protocol, but around how your body is responding.

You get five private sessions every week. That includes everything from manual therapy to keep your joints loose, to electrotherapy and dry needling to manage pain and reduce inflammation. If you’re a Precice 2 patient, we adapt techniques so they’re safe for your device and still effective.

We also use hydrotherapy, cupping, percussion therapy, stretch therapy, gait training, postural correction — and when you’re ready, Reformer Pilates and strength-building workouts.

You’re not just growing and recovering. You’re rebuilding strength, confidence, and control.

You’re Never Left Guessing About Your Progress

Throughout the lengthening phase, you’re closely monitored — every single day.

Our nurses check in with you daily to monitor vitals, check wounds, assist with medications, and make sure everything’s on track. You don’t have to ask. It’s just part of your routine here.

And once a week, Dr. Yurttaş visits the rehab center to review your progress personally. He checks your X-rays — taken right here using our mobile unit — and makes any necessary adjustments to your lengthening plan. No hospital trips. No waiting around.

If something doesn’t feel right, you let us know — and we act on it right away.

That’s how we stay ahead of complications — and keep your progress smooth and steady.

Eat Your Way — With Support If You Need It

Recovery takes energy — and that starts with what you eat.

We don’t believe in forcing a fixed meal plan. Everyone has different tastes, habits, and appetites, especially during the lengthening phase. That’s why we keep food flexible and easy.

Each morning, a healthy breakfast is served at the hotel — but if it’s not your thing, you’re welcome to join breakfast at the rehab center instead. Some patients like the routine. Others prefer to mix it up. Either way, you’ve got options.

You can also order from restaurants, shop online for groceries, or cook your own meals in the shared kitchen. Every rehab room has its own kitchenette too, so you can always keep snacks or whip up something simple.

If you ever want guidance, you can talk to our hospital’s dietitian — or get personalized advice from our medical team based on your needs, activity level, and goals.

We’re not here to tell you what to eat. We’re here to help you eat in a way that actually helps you heal.

Move at Your Own Pace

Outside your scheduled physiotherapy sessions, our team gives you personalized exercise routines you can follow on your own — whenever it suits you. Morning, night, between meals — it’s entirely up to you.

Some days, you’ll feel like moving more. Other days, maybe you had a sleepless night and just need to take it slow. Both are part of the process.

We’re not here to push or pressure. We’re here to support. Some patients go slow. Others want to be challenged. We adapt to you.

And if you ever feel unsure or stuck, we’re right by your side — ready to help when you need it.

Real Community, Real Connection

Patients and Dr Yurttas at the rehab center

One of the most underrated parts of this whole process? The people.

Every patient has their own private room, their own personal space. But step outside your room, and you'll quickly notice a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll meet people from all over the world, each going through exactly what you're going through. Some patients arrive alone, others come with loved ones, but everyone shares common experiences.

Patients naturally connect during physiotherapy sessions, meals, or in the lounge areas. You might find yourself grabbing coffee together, watching Netflix, or even organizing small trips and activities outside the center. None of this is forced or scheduled—it just happens naturally when people share the same goals and experiences.

These connections matter. Because sometimes, the best support comes from someone who truly understands what you're feeling, beyond the medical details.

The Details Make It Feel Like Home

Little things matter more than you’d expect.

Like a cozy reading corner. Or a favorite meal that makes you feel at home. Or just being greeted by name every morning by someone who genuinely remembers you.

These aren’t “extras.” They’re part of what makes this feel like real care, not just a medical routine.

Because when you’re growing, it’s the details that shape how supported you feel.

What Actually Sets This Apart

On the surface, it might all look the same. Same devices. Same techniques. Same promises.

But once you’re in it, you realize how different this actually is.

Limb lengthening isn’t just a surgery. It’s a physical, mental, and emotional process that takes time, energy, and support — every single day. And unless you’re surrounded by people who understand that fully, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

That’s why we built what we did.

From the first consultation to daily physiotherapy, from medical check-ins to community support, everything is connected. Nothing is left to chance. Nothing is just for show.

We’re not here to offer a procedure. We’re here to walk with you through the entire experience — and help you not just grow taller, but come out stronger.

Want to See It for Yourself?

If you’re thinking about limb lengthening, the best way to understand what makes this place different... is to come see it.

Visit us. Walk through the rehab center. Talk to patients. Sit down with our team. No pressure — just a chance to see how it actually feels here.

Most people tell us the moment it clicks is when they see the environment with their own eyes. When they realize it's not just about surgery. It's about how you're treated before and after, every single day.

You're always welcome.

One Final Thought

If you're thinking about limb lengthening, ask yourself the right questions.

Don’t just ask, “Where can I get this done?”

Ask, “Who’s going to help me get through this?”

Ask, “What happens after the surgery — when I’m tired, sore, maybe even overwhelmed?” Because that’s what really matters.

And that’s what we’ve built — a full, human-centered system that supports your recovery the way it should be: completely, consistently, and honestly.

If you’re ready, we’re here.
